The photo was taken at Moraine Lake, Banff National Park, in Alberta Canada. This will sound cliche, but it is the most beautiful place I've been to. This was one of those moments where I felt very limited with a camera in my hands. We as photographers do a great job of making memories, capturing once in a life time type of moments, documenting and making art. However, the vastness and grandeur of this mother nature experience cannot be captured the same way it was felt. I stood there and tried to figure out how to capture not only the beauty, but also the grandeur, serenity, peace and majesty of Mother Earth. All of that within the limits of a camera frame, quite a challenge for my photographic skills. The experience was so epic but humbling, and this photo is only a tiny glimpse into it. I tried to keep it as raw and as realistic as possible, so that one can place him/herself into the landscape and experience it for themselves. I hope to inspire everyone to put this on their list of places to visit, because once they do life will never be the same.
