During this live post processing discussion and demo, Sally Molhoek will push the boundaries of the ordinary "clean edit," and using Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop, will show you how to utilize the tools and tricks that can take your editing to an entirely new level, into the realm of the magical and dynamic. Sally will supply you with your "Editing Ingredients." Melissa Gregersen has owned and operated her photography studio in Kalamazoo Michigan for ten years. The last five years she has perfected and specialized in newborn photography. In this class, she will walk you through start to finish how she does a newborn session. From equipment needs, setup of props, soothing techniques, in depth demonstration of newborn posing techniques, and in person sales. Have your notebooks and pens ready because Melissa is thrilled to teach her passion of newborn photography.
STILL LIFE STYLING WITH KRISTIN KOKOZA
Photographing still life can be fun and creatively challenging. As the photographer you have control over the light, subject matter, and location. It is your job to think creatively in order to capture it in an interesting way that engages the viewer. Kristin loves to take simple everyday objects and create scenes and photograph them in a way that is different.
In this class we will discuss use of light, composition and theme. This will be a fun and creative class where we will have the chance to photograph several different styled scenes and objects. Kristin will also discuss how to layer elements for flat lays on social media, as well as creating images used for marketing.
MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY TALK WITH TIFFANY KELLY
Learn a fresh and modern approach to macro photography in this hands-on macro photography workshop. Tiffany will teach the foundation of macro photography including gear options, focus, depth-of-field, lighting, and composition. Attendees will have the opportunity to watch shooting demonstrations of macro photography, highlighting the ways that settings, depth-of-field, and focus operate in unique ways for this genre. During the shootout, attendees will then practice their newfound skills hands-on and receive instructor feedback and ask questions as needed.
